METRO PLUS is our biweekly publication that had been printed and distributed under several names in the Louisiana / Mississippi region since 1991.
Our transition to locally controlled digital follows several years of similar distribution through the worldwide ISSUU website.
However, changing reading habits have triggered this move to retain most of our
long-time local readers as well as the lifeblood of all businesses…newer, younger information
seekers and shoppers.
Now, more than double our old circulation will reach both new and traditional readers without the negatives of increasing paper prices, disappearing distribution locations such as supermarkets and convenience stores and a diminished labor force willing to deliver our product to these outlets.
We now have full control of regional digital distribution as well as using ISSUU. Since our research indicates the vast majority of our readers already are comfortable with using digital sources in their lives, these folks will receive cleaner, more readable ads and content not only quicker but also in place or on the go on the mobile devices.
Our pricing will not increase even though circulation has more than doubled and emailed recipients of our products have chosen to favorably opted-into reading them.
